About Hon Sabina

(Potential running mate for Baba/Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya)
Background
Sabina, who was born 43 years ago, attended the Kenya Institute of Management and the University of Nairobi, where she earned a Bachelor of Education and a Master of Communication. Prior to entering politics, she worked as an actress in the television soap opera Tausi, where she portrayed Rehema. She later worked as a radio presenter on Coro FM, as well as in radio management at Kameme FM and Kenya Broadcasting Corporation.
Family
She is a mother of three children.
Political Adventure
With 96.6 percent of the vote, she was elected to the National Assembly as the women’s representative for Murang’a county in 2013. She belonged to the National Alliance party.
She was re-elected in the 2017 general election as a member of the Jubilee Party. The Jubilee party was founded in 2016 as the successor to the Jubilee Alliance, a coalition of several political parties that included Chege’s National Alliance party.
During her first term in parliament, she chaired the Departmental Committee on Education, Research, and Technology and served on the Constitutional Implementation Oversight Committee. She has been the chairperson of the Parliamentary Committee on Health since 2017.
She sponsored the Kenya National Blood Transfusion Service Bill in 2019, which commercialized blood transfusions and established a new national body to coordinate blood donations across the country. The Kenya National Union of Medical Laboratory Officers slammed the move. She also sponsored the Breastfeeding Mothers Bill, which would require employers to provide facilities and breaks for breastfeeding employees.
She is a key and vocal supporter of Baba Raila Amollo Odinga’s bid to become the fifth President of the Republic of Kenya in 2022.
Character
She is a champion of children, youth, and women, as well as an ideal society in which everyone is proud to live.
With her humble nature, charismatic nature, eloquence, aggressiveness, sharpness, ability to unite all, ability to bring order, particularly as the chairperson of a parliamentary oversight committee, she is a strong and right candidate for the seat of the Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya, and it is hoped that order will be restored to the office of the second most powerful seat in the land.
With this being the prayer of the majority of Kenyans, particularly women and young citizens, Sabina Chege could be the missing link, and thus the RAOSA ticket is unavoidable.
